FAWORI INTERIOR PRIMER
Acrylic copolymer emulsion-based, white-pigment, thin-layer interior primer.
Characteristics
Increases the coating ability of the finishing coat and enables it to better stick on the surface. Thanks
to its thin pattern, it creates an ideal surface for water-based paints for which brightness and texture is
important, such as Fawori Ultra 7. It increases the absorption quality of the surface and saves paint
and time.
Features
Priming is carried out after the application surfaces are cleaned from any kind of mold oil, stains, dust,
and loose layers. Dull the surface with sand paper before moving on to a water-based system on
synthetic painted surfaces and in Silky-matt - Semi-matt - Glossy water-based systems (before primer
application). Setting periods of cement-based plasters and repair materials must be observed. Ensure
that the surface temperature is between +5°C and +30°C throughout application. Protect the surface
from frost during primer application and drying. Apply in a single coat using a brush, roller or airless
spray gun. After the application, all used tools should be cleaned with water.
Note: Apply using a wide transparent sealing tape on newly plastered surfaces. Apply the primer only
after scraping, sanding, or mechanically cleaning if the plaster particles create a problem.
Our products should be applied on substructure surfaces that are built in line with General
Construction Specifications dated 30.06.2007 and with No. 26568.
Drying time
(at 20ºC, 65% RH)
First drying: 1-2 hours
Paint application: 6 hours
CAUTION: Drying time is 6 hours when applied on water-based paint and 24 hours when applied on
solvent-based paint (drying time can increase at higher relative humidity and lower temperature
values).
Application surfaces
Fawori Interior Primer can be applied on concrete, exposed concrete, rough-cast surfaces, MDF,
precast concrete panels, OSB, brick, self -supporting previous paint (water-solvent based), and pasted
surfaces.
